Fresh kale
Residues of the pesticide flonicamid were found in kale at a level of 1.3 mg/kg, exceeding the maximum permitted level of 0.5 mg/kg. Potential effects: possible irritation of mucous membranes, abdominal pain, nausea, and a risk of adverse effects on the nervous and cardiovascular systems in case of long-term, repeated exposure.
