In the marinated mushrooms, sulfur dioxide (E220) was found at a level of 198.9 mg/kg, exceeding the permitted limit of 50 mg/kg. Potential effects: worsening of symptoms in people with asthma, headaches, nausea, hypersensitivity or allergic reactions (such as shortness of breath or hives), and irritation of the digestive tract.
