Pineapple slices in syrup 565g/340g

An abnormal odour of the product was detected, which may indicate spoilage or improper storage conditions. Potential effects: Possible gastrointestinal discomfort after consuming the product.

Bolognese sauce with beef and pork

A consumer complaint indicated the presence of glass fragments in the Bolognese sauce with beef and pork. Potencjalne skutki: risk of injuries to the mouth and gastrointestinal tract.

Chicken meat products

Doxycycline was detected in chicken meat at 207.75 µg/kg, exceeding the permitted limit of 117 µg/kg. Potential effects: allergic reactions, disturbance of gut flora, and contribution to antibiotic resistance development.

Pesto alla Genovese Łowicz

The withdrawal is related to the possible presence of botulinum toxin in one batch of the pesto. Potential effects: severe botulism poisoning, posing a risk to health and life.

Pork sausages from ham Carrefour Classic 300 g

Proprietary testing confirmed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in one batch of Carrefour Classic pork sausages from ham. Potencjalne skutki: Infection leading to listeriosis, which may cause severe food poisoning and complications, especially in high-risk groups.

Pesto alla Genovese green basil sauce Łowicz

Testing showed a possible presence of botulinum toxin in one batch of green pesto, based on detection of the ntnh gene. Consumption of such food may lead to botulism. Potencjalne skutki: severe food poisoning, neuromuscular paralysis, life-threatening condition.

Frozen raspberries

Perchlorates were detected in the frozen raspberries at levels of 0.119±0.024 mg/kg and 0.13±0.07 mg/kg, exceeding the maximum permitted level of 0.05 mg/kg. Potential effects: possible disruption of thyroid function, especially in children, pregnant women and people with thyroid disorders.

Creatine food supplement

The food supplements were found to contain tricreatine malate as a novel food ingredient that has not yet been authorised for use in foods within the European Union. Potential effects: lack of comprehensive data on the safety of long-term intake of this creatine form, with possible individual adverse reactions affecting the digestive system, nervous system or kidneys, especially at high consumption levels.

Pork sausages from ham 300 g

A microbiological non-compliance was found – presence of Listeria monocytogenes in a specific batch of SERDELKI WIEPRZOWE Z SZYNKI 300 g, which may pose a serious health risk. Potential effects: severe foodborne infections, fever, diarrhoea, miscarriages in pregnant women, life-threatening illness in immunocompromised persons.

Frozen blueberries

Pilos High Protein chocolate pudding

The product was found to contain Bacillus cereus bacteria. Consumption of this food may lead to food poisoning. Potencjalne skutki: food poisoning with diarrhoea, vomiting and abdominal pain.

Gałka cheese from Zakopane 280 g

The presence of Listeria monocytogenes bacteria was detected in the rennet cheese from a specific batch, indicating microbiological contamination of the food. Potential effects: severe intestinal or systemic infection (listeriosis), particularly dangerous for pregnant women, the elderly and immunocompromised individuals.

Pilos High Protein chocolate flavoured pudding

The product was found to contain Bacillus cereus, which may cause gastrointestinal symptoms. More serious symptoms may occur in particularly vulnerable consumers. Potential effects: Gastrointestinal illness, with a risk of more severe course in high‑risk groups.

Chicken breast fillet

Salmonella Enteritidis was detected in fresh chicken breast fillet, even though there is a zero-tolerance requirement for this pathogen in 25 g of product. Potential effects: acute diarrhoea, abdominal pain, fever, nausea and vomiting, and dehydration, with increased risk of severe illness in young children, older people and those with weakened immune systems.

GWAREK pork in aspic

Official testing detected the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in one of the product samples. Potencjalne skutki: food poisoning, listeriosis, serious complications in pregnant women, the elderly and immunocompromised people.

NAN OPTIpro 1, 650 g

The infant formula was found to contain cereulidin, a toxin associated with Bacillus cereus, in one batch from the given production cycle. Potencjalne skutki: possible toxic effects with long-term consumption, gastrointestinal discomfort.

Patagonian squid

Cadmium was detected in Patagonian squid at a level of 3.14 ± 0.35 mg/kg, exceeding the maximum allowed level of 1 mg/kg. Potential effects: long-term exposure may damage kidneys, affect bone health, reduce mineral absorption, and at higher exposure cause general weakness and digestive discomfort.
